Arcana Siddhi dasi
Personal & Couples
Counselor
Arcana siddhi dasi
I worked in community mental health as a psychotherapist for twelve years gaining invaluable skills along the way. I furthered my training by taking an intensive two year certification in family and couple’s therapy. During the years working in the clinic, I started a private practice working mainly with devotees. In 2003, my husband, son and I moved to North Carolina and I have continued building my private practice.
My husband and I met each other in 1988 at the temple in Potomac, Maryland. He was handsome, intelligent and most importantly, serious about his sadhana. We shared a desire to help devotees coming from dysfunctional backgrounds to become more emotionally healthy and balanced to support their efforts as spiritual practitioners. Shortly after getting married in 1990, we started counseling couples together and presenting seminars and workshops to the devotee community. We also contributed articles on a regular basis to Back to Godhead Magazine. In 2002 we connected with Krsnanandini dd, the founder of the North American Grhastha Vision Team, and joined her efforts to help strengthen the grhastha ashrama in Srila Prabhupada’s movement.

PREMARITAL & MARITAL
EDUCATOR
Partha dasa
Partha dasa married a beautiful, kind, nurturing, and devotional girl in the last term of high school in 1971. Upon graduating, they left on a spiritual quest which culminated in taking initiation from Srila Prabhupada in 1973. Several days after taking second initiation, Partha dasa became head pujari for Sri Sri Radha Madana-Mohana, in Vancouver, Canada, and remained so for close to 20 years. He is a former board member and trustee for ISKCON Vancouver and has been involved with the Grihastha Vision Team since 2004. He and his wife have facilitated GVT seminars in South Africa, Ireland, England, India, Trinidad, Guyana, Brazil, Chile, Russia, many European countries along with Canada and the US. He is solemnized to perform legal marriages by the Province of British Columbia, which he does after sufficiently counseling the couple. He is certified by the Dasi-Ziyad Family Institute to administer their ‘Vaishnava 108 Inventory and Premarital and Marriage Spiritual Strengths-based Relationship Program©,’ along with skill building courses by various other marital therapists, including a Level One Gottman Clinical Couples Therapy.
Partha dasa has three creative children, six fun grandchildren and is still married to the beautiful, kind, nurturing, devotional girl he met 50 years ago. He currently resides with his wife and family in Saranagati Dhama, Canada. For recreation, he chases bears out of his garden in the summer and does telemark skiing down steep mountain slopes in the winter.

Krishna Prana
dasi
MA Counselor & Psychologist
Krishna Prana dasi
Krishna Prana devi dasi I attained my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Trinity Western University. I have been working in the mental health field since 2013 in a variety of capacities and I currently hold positions at Shoreline Counselling, as well as a Stopping the Violence (STV) counselling position at Ishtar Women’s Resource Centre. I have experience working with various issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues (couples counselling), self-esteem and identity issues. One of my specializations is working with women who have suffered from intimate partner violence and abuse as well as working with individuals of other genders who have suffered from various types of trauma. Being able to open up and work through one’s pain can be a scary thing for many, which I can relate to from personal experience. On top of my professional training, the commitment I have made to understanding and working through my own traumatic experiences has helped me to develop personal insight into abusive relationships. In addition, it has helped me immensely in developing a sense of compassion both toward myself and others. This in turn has inspired me to strive to be an outlet of security and trust whereby my clients can enter into both their places of darkness and light with strength and self-compassion. I have done post-graduate training in several different evidence-based therapy modalities including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), AEDP for Couples and Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy. I draw mostly from relational/experiential models, that involve emotion and body-based techniques, as well as elements of cognitive-behavioural work. I am a co-founder of a group called, “Calming Body and Mind: Skills for Coping with Trauma”, which is an educational and experiential group for those suffering from symptoms and/or effects of trauma and would like to learn coping skills for managing them. As such, it is of utmost importance to me to facilitate an experience to help clients understand how difficult life situations have affected them as well as assisting them in acquiring practical tools that they can use to move through life. I enjoy working with both individuals and couples in a collaborative way that honours my clients in their current situation while using my professional experience to come up with solution-focused strategies to move forward. One of my main goals is to facilitate a safe environment made up of trust and authenticity. I feel privileged in being able to walk alongside my clients during their times of need, as well as being there to celebrate their important milestones along the way. I look forward to being able to accompany you on your journey at whatever point you invite me to do so.

Radha Gaasbeek
Not currently accepting new clients.
Radha Gaasbeek, M.Ed/Ed.S. (She/Her)
Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (RMFTI)
Hi, my name is Radha and I am grateful that you are here.
I know being here is not always easy, and I applaud your courage in showing up.
I would like to begin by sharing a bit about myself with you. As a person, my core values include: cultivating a life of compassion (offered to myself and others), intentionally engaging in what I do with a wholehearted spirit of service, learning to trust grace, and interacting from a place of genuineness, integrity, and humility as I embrace my humanity
and the humanity of those around me. I strive to move through life as a practice of holding both the light and the dark, and I am consistently bringing myself back to choosing the path of continued learning, healing, and growth in all that I do.
Clinically speaking, I am a strengths-based, developmentally oriented, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ affirming, relational counselor. My counseling philosophy is deeply humanistic and informed by my personal spiritual values. I have been told by clients that they experience me as warm, empathic, affirming, good humored, and able to challenge them gently. In my role as a therapist, I have experienced firsthand just how much healing lies in the quality of the therapeutic relationship; this guides me to actively prioritize our process of building trust and safety in order for you to access that healing. Along these lines, I consciously support my clients in slowing down, connecting to their emotions and bodies, and ultimately, coming back home to their true Selves.
Working through a lens of developmental psychology, I primarily integrate healing modalities rooted in Attachment theory, Structural Family Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and the Enneagram. Other therapeutic orientations I draw from include Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy, Gottman Couples Counseling, Mindfulness, and the 12-Step Model of Recovery. My aim is to empower couples, families, and individuals to begin to move through their layers of conditioning, heal their relationships with
themselves and their loved ones, and live life with a greater sense of choice, self-awareness, emotional security, and self-compassion.
If my style speaks to you, I would love to schedule a (free) 15-minute phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit.
